MEGA CARDIAC CHECK-UP CAMP AT MYSORE

Lions Club of Mysore South in association with Apollo BGS Hospitals conducted a free Cardiac Check-up camp at J.P Nagar , Mysore on 16th of December 2009, Around 150 people were scanned using E.C.G, Echo and general check-up like weight, B.P etc was also checked.

DAKSHINA KESARI KANNADA SAHITHYA AWARDS 2009 PRESENTED

The Dakshina Kesari Kannada Sahithya awards was presented to Dr.Ramegowda of Mysore for his works on Classical status of Kannada and The History of Old Kannada at a Glittering function held at Lions Serviuce Centre Mysore on 10th of December 2009, Prof. Lingadeveru halemane, The Director of 'rangayana" mysore was the Chief Guest and Lion Devegowda, Pmjf, The District Governor Dist.324-D1 was the Guest of Honour.A Cash prize of Rs.10,001/- , A Trophy and a Citation was presented to the recipient.

Doctors day was celebrated on the 29th of August 2009, at the CSI Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, Mysore. Dr. B.D.R Paul and Dr. Shanthi Paul were the reciepents of the prestigious "DAKSHINA KESARI BEST DOCTORS 2009 AWARDS"

Dr. Reuben Prakash, Director of the Hospital was the geust of honour.
